How can you treat contaminated groundwater?
There are two ways to biologically treat contaminated groundwater. To determine which is more suitable, proper testing and analysis is required to establish the current microbiological state of the water.
Biostimulation – adding nutrients to stimulate existing microbes
Often microbes in the environment are limited for basic nutrients, so biostimulation involves determining if the contamination of concern can be transformed through the provision of simple nutrient amendments. Using this process we can quickly equip clients with clear data that determines whether biostimulation will be effective on their contaminated site.
